Giftfully Monday

The future Hubby gifted me with this. I adore him, he always knows what I need and when I need it most. This is the answer to my wedding planning. I couldn't wait to get it home and write in it. It's priceless and will be everywhere I am. :)

3 months and some days...

     Sorry I have been out of the blogging scene for a couple of days. I have a lot going on with wedding planning and all. (pray my strength in the lord :) ) We had to change the dress. Future Hubby saw a view of the back of it, and was not having that at all. It was modest to a degree but the lace made it not so modest. [View the dress here..] Now it's back to square one with finding the perfect modestly beautiful dress.

     Anyways, Keep me in your prayers, these next couple of months will be tedious. But future Hubby and I got this! :)

Thankful Thursday!

Today I am thankful for knowing THE PROMISES OF GOD!

Truth be told, everyday is not a happy day for me. Some days I have to make myself happy. I have to literally talk to myself and say, "Look, enough! We are not about to do this today!" (yes I talk to myself, but I don't answer myself :) ) Sometimes life can bring sadness, disappointments, frustration, and even self pity. And in these times is when I find the promises of the word of God to lift me up and give me joy and power to overcome any circumstance.

The promises in the word of God are endless... they go on and on and on. Every situation we face in life has a scripture to remove it and to change it. From depression, to appearance, to accountability, relationships, finances... you name it. It's in the word of God! I am so very thankful for this wonderful treasure of assurance I have access to. (amen!)
